I really like building all-balsa models because you get a sense
of satisfaction when you're finished and it actually flies. This little
bird is very light weight and has just enough power to fly around
just as the scale version would. I left the landing gear off to save
weight but hand launching is not a problem from a stand still.

Here you can see how little space the Norvel takes up in the big
AT-6 cowl. The plane is covered in Ultrakote and the cowl is
painted with Krylon.
