My very first plane.  A small but very effective trainer.

 
I decided one day to show off for some friends and fly in a 30mph crosswind.  The wind won.  Immediately after takeoff the plane was swept horizontally towards the pit fence, despite the fact that I was using full opposite aileron and rudder.  It was only moving about 5 mph forward, but was slammed into the fence sideways and shredded the tail.
