4-Star 40
Super Tigre 45 engine, Futaba 4 channel radio, APC 11x6 prop.

This is my original Sig 4-Star 40, which I built immediately after crashing the Eaglet.  It is the perfect "second plane" for modelers.   This plane builds fast and easy, and is a breeze to fly.  I installed a SuperTigre .40 and Futaba 4 channel in this plane 3 years ago, and it's still going strong.  However, I became bored with the colors, so I made some changes.  See below...

Here is a picture of the 4-Star after a new covering job.   I like the "camo" covering better, and made an attempt to resemble a P-40 Warhawk, which is what I wanted to build next.  As it turns out, my Wife (girlfriend at the time) cut out all the Monokote pieces for the teeth. The pilot is a rubber Pluto head from one of my Wife's Disney shampoo bottles.  She is such a sport!

I sold this plane to our club treasurer, Don Forsythe, as he
was in need of a second plane.  I don't think he's flown it
yet, but I hope it serves him well.
