Sterling Citabria 25
O.S. 25 engine, JR 4 channel radio, Master Airscrew 9x6 prop.

Here are some shots of my Sterling Citabria .25.  This was a really old kit, and I had to cut out most of the parts myself.  The kit was originally designed for control line flight, but I modified it for servos.  I used the O.S. .25 engine from the Eaglet and a JR 4 channel radio.  Flight was pretty short, as it cart-wheeled immediatly after takeoff and split the wing in two.  I don't really think I should have converted this plane to radio control instead of control line, but what's the point of being an R/C pilot if you don't use R/C?

This plane came down so hard after the third flight that there wasn't anything to take a picture
of.  The pieces were so small and so many that it wouldn't make a good picture.  The left wing
flew off in mid flight, thus causing a violent spin for the rest of the plane straight into the ground
at full speed.  I found the wing panels, one wheel, and the firewall attached to the engine, but that's it.
The engine was destroyed.
