Here is a photo of the progress so far on my latest adventure.  The Cessna is turning out to
be more of a project than I had originally thought.  I'm installing full flaps and lighting system
including rotating beacon on the tail, real strobe on the belly, in-cowl headlights, and wingtip
lights. I'm also installing the full deatil cockpit kit, and will probably use Barbie dolls for the
pilots, since a 12" figure will fit nicely in this spacious area.

Almost finished now!  I just have to draw the doors and latches on.

The entire plane is covered with Ultrakote, and wheel pants painted with Krylon.

Full flaps and corrugation on moving surfaces are a MUST for scale appearance!

This baby flies like a dream!  Full flaps make landing so scale-like it's scary!  Flying
this plane is probably the biggest rush I've had with R/C in a long time, and now I've
added an internal wireless video system.  The movie clips in the R/C Video section
are merely the beginning of remote video capture which I've discovered from www.X10.com.
The complete videocapture system consists of a tiny color camera, 2.4 gigahertz transmitter
and receiver, and AC/DC 12v power supplies, which of course can be converted to battery
power by merely using 8 "AA" cell batteries in a handy 8 cell plastic holder from Radio Shack for about a
buck. The best part is, the video system from X10 costs $88 shipped, which is about $400
cheaper than I have found anywhere.  Granted, the range is limited to about 1500 feet if
you get the antennas set up just right, but for $88 you can't go wrong!
