Scale F8F Bearcat .60 size...don't know which kit or who built it originally.
Super Tiger G-90, 14x6 APC prop, JR 8103 radio, 61" wingspan.

Here you can see the cockpit detail, engine cowl flaps, and scale exhaust exit.
The Super Tiger G-90 is fitted with a custom exhaust system that ports three tubes
out the side into the scale location.  It works very well and sounds really cool.
Working flaps are always a plus, and these were done very nicely.

There is a hidden hatch on the side that gives access to the battery switch, charge
jack, and air retract filler.  Very nice touch.  Here you can also see the panel lines
and rivet detail on the fuse and wing.

The plane has just enough hangar rash to look authentic and like it's been through a war.
The painted machine-gun burns on the wing are very nice, as is the exhaust blast.

I'm working on getting a scale radial engine insert for the cowl to finish off this masterpiece.
The landing gear are scale and close nicely against the wing.

I don't know who built this plane, but I have learned a LOT about scale detail from this
work of art.  I'm not sure if I'll ever fly it, but will post comments regarding the flight if I
ever do.

Here is the bottom of the plane.  You can see the blemish on the chin of the cowl where the previous
owner repaired a scuff, probably from a hard surface landing.  It's smooth and primed, just need to find
matching blue paint to finish it. The rudder is a pull-pull system, with wires controlling the tail wheel as well.
The tail wheel LOOKS like a retractable one, but it's not.

Here is the bottom  of the wing.  There are some little spots that need a
touch of paint to make it perfect.  I haven't fixed them yet because no one
really sees the bottom of the wing.
