Diamond Dust Delta wing, old .40 engine, JR 783 radio.

This was the diamond dust the first time, before the crash.  I can't
remember when I built it but it was a while ago.  I had an old
O.S. 49 engine on it and apparently forgot to balance the prop
because the engine vibrated out of the plane in flight.  The picture
on the right is what was left of it after removing some of the covering.

Well, I just finished it after about three days of intensive rebuilding.
I completely stripped all the covering off and rebuilt most of the wood
structure, including an all-new heavy duty engine mounting area.
You can't tell from the pictures, but all the covering is Monokote, and
the black at the bottom was actually cut as inverted flames to lay over the
red.  I covered the top in red, then put on the yellow flames after cutting
them out, then I just cut out what flames would look like at the top of a
black Monokote roll.  It took some time, especially the 4" square pieces of
Monokote on the bottom, but it was worth it.  I wanted this thing to be highly
visible in the sky at high speeds because that's all the flying it's going to see.
